Occupational Therapy

With Master’s degrees in occupational therapy, Premier’s occupational therapists have extensive training in patient care, Medicare (PPS), requirements of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) as well as state and federal guidelines. Occupational therapists must also be state licensed.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) are graduates of a two-year accredited program and assist the occupational therapists with patient treatments. COTAs are also licensed by the state in which they practice.
