All Premier physical therapists are graduates of accredited schools with a degree in physical therapy. Physical therapists entering the profession need a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. They must also be state licensed.
Our physical therapy assistants (PTA) are graduates of a two-year accredited program and assist the therapists with the rehabilitation program. PTAs are also licensed by the state in which they practice.
Some of the focus of Premier Physical Therapy includes:
- Mobility and Transfer Training
- Modalities: moist heat treatment, ultrasound, massage, electrical stimulation
- Therapeutic Exercises: strength endurance, range of motion stretching, and balance/coordination
